First you will have to change the trans. the 4.3 uses the same as a V-8. GM never installed that eng. in an f-body so you will encounter many problems that have not been dealt with such as: manifolds or headers, smog, computer, etc. Be ready for a major challenge.

The 4.3 is basicly a 6 cyl. version of a 350. I can't remember if the motor mounts are indexed off of the front or back, but that is the only real prob I can see. Exhaust and other things should not be real hard. The computer will most likely need to come from a 4.3 equipped vechicle to use the TBI. I wonder if you can use the puter from a 305 TBI and change the prom?

BTW, I have an 89 blazer that needs a 4.3 has a 700R4 4X4 etc... sell it cheap

The 2.8,3.1,3.4 are all 60 degree blocks, the 4.3 is a 90 degree block, (350 - 2cyls).
It will take some effort to get it to work. Better choice would be a 3.4 (unless you have a 4.3 laying around )

Also, the 3.4 was designed by GM to be a more reliable replacement engine for the 2.8 which seems to have big problems throwing rods.

all i can say is you never really looked if you didn't see anything by me asking 4.3 questions. part of the problem is i refer to it as my little engine or my 350 -2. too many people will flame you for doing it, as you can see here. mine is going in a 85 drag car. i'm just short of installing the engine.

Hay ede,
Does that mean that you have put a 4.3 in a Camaro?
