where to get a 455 for a 75TA to replace the 400

I am looking for a 455 pontiac for a 75TA that has a 400 now. I am not looking for one built by a racebuilder for over $4000 . Thanks guys

Try PAW. You will need to get the catalog, or call them. Sorry, don't have the number handy. They can be found in most of the HiPo magazines. They carry long and short block kits.

Here's there website www.pawinc.com but they do not have an online catalog.

p.s. That engine is getting very hard to come by. I wish Pontiac had kept producing them instead of switching to the "corporate" motor.

I would spend 1000 to 2000 max for a complete motor. I would rather find a sd or at least a pontiac 455 block that needs rebuild.
