Whats up,
I have a worked 305 ready to be intalled on my 92' camaro which originally came with a 3.1 automatic. I have every possible part for the motor, including fuel pump. Oh yeah its gonna be a 305 TPI. Do i need bigger fuel lines i hope not, anyway im puting in an 85 T-5 manual tranny with a b&m short shifter and donated pedals torque arm shift plate shift boot but i know i need a slave cylinder and a hydralic resevoir do i need these two parts. i have a clutch and flywheel. is there anything that im missing to work this convesion. Thanks.

The "every possible part" statement - exactly what do you mean: Engine mounts, bell housing, accessory brackets, alternator, power steering pump, A/C compressor & hoses, harnesses, radiator, transmission, belts, hoses, starter, ECM, sensors, air cleaner, distributor, harmonic balancer, pulleys, throttle & cruise cables, exhaust manifolds ... what all do you have? How about the non-engine parts like front springs? Tachometer? Front brake line on the front crossmember? Exhaust from manifolds to rear bumper?

The fuel lines are the same size, although I'm not completely sure if they are routed the same (not much MPFI exposure, I'm afraid).

The best way to do this is to have the car from which the 305 came sitting beside your '92 while you switch parts from one to the other.

I couldn't answer your transmission questions - I'm strictly auto at this point. Except make sure the crank has a pilot bearing in it.

Converting an 85 Sport Coupe myself and just about finished. The fuel lines for the MPFI setup are on the drivers side and the correct diameters/fittings. That will be the least of your concerns however. I put in an 88 350 TPI/AOD setup in mine and had to rewire about a dozen engine and ECM harness connections. Is this hobby practical he** no! But the satisfaction is off the scale. My sport coupe had a T-5 in it and had the clutch master/slave setup. I would assume that your V-8 setup will require it also. Be prepared to spend big money if you want a car that will last awhile after you finish it. Enjoy.
