Distributer Wiring?

If I do go with the Carbed 350, HEI dist., pull the computer from my beloved chevy, how to wire the distributer? These computers are new to me. Does it Show?...LOL

You could use a good share of the wiring you already have. The power and tach wire would work, although you might have to re-terminate them. Same for starter, alternator, A/C, etc. You may have to break them out of the harness (unwrap the harness) and reroute, but that's not too big a deal.

Just leave the computer in there. It doesn't weigh enough to mess with taking it out. Won't hurt anything sitting there, just take out the SES bulb.

You won't get torque convertor lockup without a functioning computer. But, kits are available to make that happen. Or, you could hard wire it according to the instructions in the tech article.
