3054bbl HO to 350 TPI what do i need to do?

3054bbl HO to 350 TPI what do i need to do?

i found a 350 that may have TPI, and currently i have a 305 with a comp. controlled carb. if i swap motors, what computer crap will i have to deal with? do i need a new ROM? and is the wiring diffrent?

i'd find a 350 tpi doner car and take the engine, ecm, and all the harnesses as well as anything else you see that you may need

There's a tech article on this, as well as several posts.

Basically, you need to change anything attached to or associated with the engine operation (except transmission, power steering pump, etc. Although some brackets will change). So, yes, all engine & ECM harnesses, the ECM itself is different (not just the PROM), all sensors. I think you get the picture.
