Wiring GM HEI on '89 2.8
Wiring GM HEI on '89 2.8
I asked this question a while ago but nobody replied. In the mean time I've figured it out and I thought I would share the solution.
The 12-gauge pink wire going to the original 2.8 coil is the battery wire you should use for the distributor. The accompanying white wire hooked up to the coil with the test terminal poking out of the wiring loom is the tachometer signal for the gauge in the dash.
Problem solved
