First Engine build need advise
Im looking to buid a streetable 350 to put in my 86 ta. Want something carb. around 350-400 hp. any suggestions on certain combos, heads cams intake carbs?
I am looking for a 4 bolt main 350 with the two piece rear seal.

vortec heads are cheap and easy to find. go with a summit 1102 cam kit its cheap and i have one in my s-10, good power and torque. use edelbrock 7116 intake. keep compression between 9-9.5:1. 600-750 vac secondary carb. good luck

Thats exactly what ive been reading on different sites. You've just made the decision for me. Thanks alot. Vortec heads and the intake for sure. you dont happen to have a sound clip of the truck running with that cam do you?
And what would you reccomend as far as a carb?
