I have a MPFI 2.8 v6 1988 camaro I also have a 1979 301 pontiac Firebird The firebird has a bent frame,can I swap the engine and trans from the firebird to the camaro.I would like to go with the carb and no computer or emmisions.(which the firebird does not have)Can this be done?and How difficult would it be?

Anything can be done, but it won't bolt to the tranny. And it won't bolt to a v8 chevy trans either. You can use your BOP trans and then the driveshaft, x-member, ect. for just a 301 (1 of the top 10 worst motors according to car craft)
