Anyone use the 350 HO deluxe crate in a TA?????

I'm putting a 350 HO deluxe in my 86 TA. Will I have a problem with hood clearance because of the intake?

umm i have the 350 HO in my RS, and the clearances should be pretty much the same i would think. I have t-tops too..i odnt know of it is twisting teh hell out of my car or not...but o be sure i am getting some SFCs soon.

what induction system are you using? i assume since you said the 350 HO Deluxe that you are going to go with the carb that it comes with. Well, my TBI is basically the same as a carb dimension wise, so it will probly fit. I have a 14x3 open element too.

You don't wait to have twisting problems before putting on subframe connectors. They don't cost that much, and should be done before torque/power is increased. I haven't heard of anyone who regretted it when installed on stock HP cars, even.

SFC are on my car for the past year, first suspension mod I did. At the same time I added 3 point STB and SLP LCAs and panhard (boxed stock). The car is solid even with stock swaybars and springs. Yes, the springs have 150k miles and RS and the thing hold the corners very well. I've got Bilstien, Eiback, and 36/24 bars waiting to get installed.

Dale Earnhart, you have done so much, you will be missed.
