305 Carb to 350TPI
I have a 1986 camaro LG4 305 carb engine with 700R4 trany. I have a 1991 L98 350 TPI engine with the wire harness and computer. I was thinking about dropping into the 86 but was wondering what I will have to change to make it work. I know I will need a inline pump. I have also noticed that the fuel lines run in a different place on my car then in a TPI car. Any info will be helpfull.

Re: 305 Carb to 350TPI
not necessarily bad, but been asked a few times before.
-you will need the wiring harness/ecm from the tpi setup (you have them, ok there)
-metal lines are different (carbed ones got them on the passenger side, fi got them on the driver side). you could modify something to make them work, but save yourself the hassle and grab a new set. Fine Lines sells some nice pre bent ones for resonable money
-fuel pump needs to be changed (but you already mentioned that)
Otherwise it should physically fit in the same as the 305. wiring and fuel will be the fun part.
