how do you tell a 305 from a 350???????
The guy i bought my 89 RS from says it has a 350 in it, but since it came with a 305 from the factory, there's no telling. It still has TBI and has center bolt valve covers, automatic(is this a 700-R4?). If the swap was done, the only thing that was changed was the engine. Everything else is stock. Any help will be appreciated. I don't really want to pull the heads, but it may come to that. i am switching to TPI soon and a new motor if that's a 305 in it. I just need to find out to know whether to go ahead and put the TPI on this motor or build a new one.
