305 heads on a 350????

305 heads on a 350????
Planning on swaping my tired old 305 for 350 but was wondering if the 305 heads would work? They will need to be rebuilt,so is there anything the engine shop can do to them or do i need to buy new heads!

Although they may fit, the compression ratio would go up quite a bit. 11:1 or so. Plus they won't flow enough for the 350 to use it's true power. After the machine work that would be required, it would probably be just as cheap to get some used 350 heads and have them rebuilt. Just a thought.
