You never answered my question in your original post about your current configuration or the 350. Do you have a carb'd engine? If so, it should have a mechanical pump, and yes, now is the time to change if for a new one; won't cost much but it's a lot easier to change when everything's apart than it is later when it starts leaking on you or otherwise craps out. If you have an in-tank pump, you don't need to change anything.

Distributor will swap. If you have '86-later carb or EFI, you should get a 350 knock sensor & module, although you can probably live with the 305 piece.

Grab a v8 tank from a junkyard and usually you won't get smacked with the fuel pump price or take it out and hide it

You definatly need the connecting lines and have to upgrade to high pressure line.

You're also going to need the computer and wiring cause these cost $.

Other cheap options are to get the motor, get sensors out of a junkyard (pocket stuffers ) and a computer...

Why does he hae to do that? He is going from carb to carb. Edlebrock makes a good carb and Autozone has it cheap with no shipping charge. Go for the 750cfm $199.99 the electric choke is a little more.

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package with 64cc aluminum heads, dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.
