zz-4 Tunedport?
zz-4 Tunedport?
I have a 91 Trans-am and i swaped the stock 305 TPI for a 350 zz-4 Create motor, using the stock TPI Intake/TPI setup. All seemed to be working untill it flooded with Gas, the injectors are pumping too much fuel, where would the sensor be located? i have replaced the map sensor, the 02 sensor, replaced the computer, replaced the electronics in the distribuitor, and changed the coil. Anyone have any ideas?
Honestly, I'm not full of knowledge about all of the sensors involved with the ECM on your car. However I'm fairly certain when I say that you probably inadvertantly eliminated a necessary engine mounted sensor, like the timing sensor (?)
Check it out.

1985 Trans Am - rough and ready -- 3" cat and primary exhaust, lowered 2", custom rust body work mild fender denting. Daily driver.
1976 Corvette Stingray - not so rough, but always ready. mild 350/th350 tranny. mostly stock till I whack the hood for the blower

Humm, when we did the motor swap, i kept the stock wireing harness, and all the plugs pluged in, We did have to move some sensors from the 305 block to the 350 block, but there where mounting spots for the sensors. Also, i have a injector light (that you plug into the harness) and on my Dads TA they blink, on mine they stay light (and keep injecting fuel) Any ideas on that?
