Centerline Daggers mounted...
Sooo i finally got my new wheels that i ordered about a month ago, after dealing with a bunch of bull**** from Boyd. To make a long story short, the wheels Boyd kept shipping were scratched, wrong backspace than i asked for, wrong centercaps, etc etc.
the new wheels are Centerline Daggers 17x8 front, 17x9.5 rear. Tires are 245/45/17 and 275/40/17 front/back. they are a 2 peice billet aluminum wheel. i'm very pleased with the quality and design of the wheel, it fits the car very well i think. they had to be custom built so it took 4 weeks total, but well worth the wait. MUCH better quality than the Boyds were, in my opinion.
I will also be lowering it soon, i have an Eibach Pro-kit... just need to get some time to install it.
Here are some quick pictures i grabbed today

love the wheels man! they set your car of nicely, and 4 weeks for a custom wheel build is really good time
out of curiosity, which boyds were you going for?

Wow those look good! I didn't think your car could get any better, but you proved me wrong. What did you do with the old 5 stars? Very good choice.

I was gonna go with a Boyd Smoothie II, but after seeing these I fell in love. I had never seen them in person until yesterday! so i guess i kind of bit the bullet and hoped they were gonna look good, haha.
82firebird- The old pro stars are going on my brothers '81 Trans Am
I am still keeping the Hoosiers for the track though. Your car is coming along nice, those wheels look sharp as well Supreme Member

very very nice. the one that you put as your sig looks the best out of all of them imo.
that prokit is going to hurt you at the track though isnt it?

I thought those pro stars looked awesome, but these definatly look better IMO! The rims look like they won't be overly hard to keep clean as well. I can't wait to see how she looks with the prokit installed.
Great car, always been one of my favorites on this board! The black grill is starting to grow on my as well.

Thanks guys!
The fronts are 17x8 with a 4.5" backspace. Rears are 17x9.5 with 5.5" backspace. They fit nice, do not rub at all and are still tucked underneath the fender lips. I actually ordered them from Town Fair Tire, who went straight through to Centerline. The fronts were around $480 a peice and rears around $510. Pricey i know, but the quality and look is well worth it IMO.
Here's a pic showing how the stick out compared to the body lines..

And heres a few more in the sun

Thanks everyone!
Im still trying to get used to the way it handles and looks. Im pretty happy now that i can actually carve corners and utilize all of my suspension mods. Car feels really tight

Tuned I've been a fan of your car for quite some time and I'm in Bellingham Mass and even though we are brothers in the state...your car is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Those rims really set off the paint and the whole appearance of the car.

Bottledbird68 (matt) on this board painted it a few years back, and also did the bodywork. still looks great to this day
The front tires were around $130 a peice and the rears around $160. kind of a package deal with the wheels i think
