Any LT4's out there?

Just wondering if anyone has done an LT4 swap into their 3rd gen. I saw the engines for sale in NextGeneration. The engine is a variation of the LT1, right? So in theory an LT4 could be swapped, correct? And will this bolt up and work with a 700R4? Thanks for any feedback,
Matt

the LT4 is a badass monster engine. it was in the 96 grandsport corvettes and in 500 97 camaros. i would droll all over it if i saw one. but thats out of sheer rareness. i personally love the LT5. oooooooohhh quad cam monster! it just screams beefy. i would take it over a LS6 ( i know the ls6 has more power, but i love me some ZR1 corvette)

Did all 97 SS Camaro's with the orange stripes, white body and white wheels get the lt4 or where most the LT1?

I test drove the 97 camaro ss **drooooool** wow what a fast freakin car. The salesperson didnt let me drive it off the dealer myself, instead he drove me a block away and then gave me the wheel. Don't know why he did it but as he pulled away fro the dealer he slammed on the gas and the tires just spun endlessly. Whooo!!!

Anyways when I drove it I punched it, not as heavily as he did, and realized that engine is a beast. Smooth horsepower all the way.

Only 100 of the 97 Anniv. Camaros got the LT4, very rare. Most all you are likely to see will be LT1s...

Along w/ Grandsport Vettes, all 96 6spd Vettes have the LT4 in them, so you can find some donor cars around...
