Recommend an engine for me

I really want a 410 hp crate 350cu but i'm awfully poor. I want incredible speed and power for a low low price. I wanna know where I can get a clean engine for a good price. WAHH it sucks being a poor teen.

How poor is "awfully poor"?

The old saying goes, "Tell me how much money you have, and I'll tell you how fast you can go." That's not far from the truth, so the requirements of your second sentence are practically mutually exclusive.

My advice, which I've offered to many before, is to build your way up to your goals. Start with things that will work with both your current 305 and your dream crate 350. Those include headers, high-flow cat & cat back, suspension mods such as poly bushings and subframe connectors. They will help you now, and would be must-haves for the crate engine anyway.

Best 15.1/95.5 @ 5800' Bandimere.

Currently in my bank account I have $715. I need to save some of that for emergencies (ie deductable, etc). Estimate my current amount at $400. But don't worry, I make money kinda fast. I just have a habit of spending it. I think I should just save up for a new crate and put her in later. My 305 TBI runs perfectly fine.
