Switching parts from a 305 to a 350 engine
Is it possible to switch off a TPI unit from an 305ci '85 Camaro IROC to a 350ci long block for the same car? If it is possible, do i need to modify the computer for the 350?
Thanks guys!

The quick answer is, yes, it's possible. Since you have the earlier bolt pattern intake manifold and 2-piece rear main seal, there is a greater supply of compatible 350s out there.
The computer will "work" with the 350, but you should get either an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to up the feed to your 19 lb injectors, or get 22 lb injectors (some would say do both). To get the most out of it, you need to fix the restrictive exhaust and plenum - the stock pieces restrict a 305. The more you modify it, the more a custom chip for the computer will be required to get the most out of it.

yes you can do this but???
you will need an EPROM(computer chip)from a 350 TPI.the 5.7 has a more aggresive fuel curve.
the 19lbs injectors will work on a 350 but you'll see bigger gains from the 22lbs injectors
besides that the 5.0 and the 5.7 TPI intakes are the same.
now if i were you?while i had the intake off i would do some porting on the base, runner, and plenum
