It's a 1992 RS 305 TBI. The other motor is a 69-79 Chevy 350, complete. I'm taking it out of the 76 Monte now (not original engine) I want to use my TBI on it. Sounds pretty simple to me, just have tho change knock sensor???? What else needs changed?? It's going to be used w/ my 700r4 so I guess I need a new flywheel and oil pan to??? Any one that has done this please let me know, and all info is highly appreciated.

 

76 was not a great year for power. You would need to rebuild it to make some good power.

 

It's not actually from a 76 Monte. It's a earlier model bore .30 over w/ roller rockers, holly fuel system, and a singlt plane team g intake. It ran 11.24 in the monte back in 98. So it has been done over already.

 

You will most likely not be able to use that engine. In '88 chevy went to a 1 peice rear main seal. Unfortunatly I don't think that engine will be compatible with the '92 camaro
