I was wondering if anyone out there has done a 3.8 swap, and what your experience was like. What kind of problems did you run into, if any? And what was the solution to the problems, if any? I am really interested in doing the swap, but would first like to hear from others who had done this befroe. Thanks!

 

not done the 3.8 but have put a 4.3 in and took a 350 out. my biggest problem was headers, other than that i pretty much fabricated or machined brackets, rerouted wires, and pretty much changed everything but the gas and brake pedals. mines a drag car so a lot of the work i did would be the same no matter what engine and trans i used.
