I finally have some money for a new motor!!
right now i have a 305tbi and I'm either going to put in a 350 or a 383!! I know a little bit about each motor but what to know the pros and cons of both?? Any comments suggestions would be helpful and thanks in advance!!

 

Cost or your abilities will be the deciding factor. If you cant do the work necessary to clearance the block for the bigger crank, its gonna cost you a pretty penny to build a 383.

 

If you can afford it go for the 383 or build a 400 sbc there great street engines they make tons of torque down low.

 

Do the 350, and spend most of your left over money on good heads.
