Does anyone know where I can get a good 350? Maybe a Crate or something else that will give a big performance boost to my stock 305. Or does anyone know where I can get a cheap 350 (but a good one) that I can modify as I get money (cams, headers etc.)? I looked in jegs and the cheapest 350 was for about $3200, so does anyone know where I can get one cheaper, then modify?

Find a good speed/machine shop in your area. Most of the shops have blocks just laying around that are perfectly rebuildable. Just tell the shop how much power you want and how much money you have. The guys should build you a great engine.
