Running TPI on a 400?
Is it possible to run the TPI setup from a 350(or 305) on a 400 small block? Personally, I think that a DFI system or Mini-Ram would work the best, but I'd like to explore the stock TPI & runners before I move into the big $$$ stuff.

honestly .. dont believe that miniram stuff *unless u want to go over 6500 rpms* im doing a 406 project *trying for 500 HP* and i found better numbers going with a modified TPI set-up vs the superram or mini ram. by modified i mean a big mouth intake *tpis* large tube runners *tpis* and 58mm T.B. *so far i found BBK to be the cheapest and best*
the reason for the tpis big mouth vs an edelbrock is because there is alot more to post on the bigmouth then the edelbrock. plus the flow #'s *if u did not port the intake* are better on the big mouth. but as far as just swaping your tpi unit over to a 400 block.. u will starve the engine if u dont do the following stuff. plain and simple
