383 rotating assembly in a 305?

Would the Eagle 383 rotating assemblies from Jeg's fit in a 305 block (bored .030-over, of course)? I've heard people talk about Powerhouse Products having the only 334 stroker kit available but shouldn't this kit work if you used 305 pistons?

A 383 rotating assembly with 305-like pistons IS a 334 stroker kit. I say "305-like" because you can't just put regular 305 or 350 pistons in with a stroker crank.

To expound: 383 stroker kits use 4.030" diameter pistons. 334 stroker kits use 3.766" diameter pistons. Both use a 3.75" stroke crank vs. the stock 3.48" stroke for 305/350's. The wrist pin for stroker pistons is located 0.135" higher (half the stroke difference) relative to the piston crown than .030"-over 350 or 305 pistons, respectively, due to the longer stroke.

And, no, you can't bore a 305 block out to 4.030".
