What kind of chips?
Hi,
I was wondering what kind of chips you guys were using after swapping from 305 to 350. Is anyone getting away with just performance ones or are you using custom chips thanks.

Any time you add alsmot 50 cubic inches to a motor a custom chip will help quite a bit. Sotck programming was never designed to deal with those kind of drastic airflow chages.
However, you can run a MAF style FI system with the stock chip. The MAF allows the ECM to directly read how much air is going into the motor and compensate for it, even with a slightly hotter cam.
A speed density type FI system (91-92) will run acceptably with a stock chip as long as you use the larger 22# injecotrs from a 350 TPI motor when you do thw swap. This assumes a fairly mild stock-type cam in the new 350. Any change to a hotter cam will drive the speed density programming bonkers, bigger injectors or not.
