I need a throttle body assembly for my 1990 Camaro RS 3.1L V6, I've been told most 3rd gen and higher v6 camaro throttle body's should work, if you have this part or know a cheaper alternative then the 400+ GM replacement then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me or post or call me.

At one point I owned a 1991 Camaro with 3.1 V6. I can't remember if the TB was formed as part of the upper intake or if it bolted on separately. If it includes the whole upper intake then you can see why it costs $400.

I can't beleive that the aftermarket doesn't make a replacement for it. But, if you're cheap like me, the junkyard is not called the poor man's parts store for nothing!!

If you check the V6 board, someone makes a high performance replacement TB for about $180.

 

I didn't want a performance part, but i already found a replacement that's used, i found it at junkyarddog.com, and filled out some forms and they got replys less then 2 days later and one for 55 dollars, shipped.
