Here's the problem. The 305 in our 84 camaro needs work, so we pulled it out. But, now I need a car to drive. My 79 monte has a working 267, but was recently in another accident. It needs to much work to save the body. Can we put this in the camaro until the 305 is up and running again?

yes. All SBC engines are externally the same. Everything will bolt right up.
