the 3.4 motor isn't that great of a motor. that is why it isn't very popular to modify like teh 3.8 or the 4.3 v6. i don't know for sure but i thinkit is a 60 degree v6 but i don't know if a rear wheel drive tranny would bolt to it or not. it would be super pain in the butt. if u wanna turbo v6 either but a TTA or get a drive train out of a turbo buick regal.

you'd need to bolt it to the tranny that came with a f-body, 2.8L, 3.1L or 3.4L v6. I doubt it would fit within the shock towers but it might be possible. GM shoved a big block and a DOHC ZR1 engine in before.

The 3.4 makes good power but even if you can get it in and running due to the fact it had a short production run parts will bite you.
If you must go V6 the 4.3 turbo from a GMC Typhoon or Syclon would be sweet and parts (other than intake, crank, and cam) are the same a 350.

No the DOHC 3.4L won't fit between the shock towers but the 3.4L push rod out of a 1993-1995 camaro will bolt right in,, go over to the V6 board and talk to KED85 he will fill you in, because he did the swap, if you have a V6 camaro, join the little club of the V6 board where you won't be put down for having a v6.

I wonder why the 3.4L DOHC wont fit if a ZR1 engine did. Maybe they banged in the shock towers a bit? the ZR1 engine should be even wider since its a 350 cid 90* engine. On the other hand Lotus designed the ZR1 heads very compact. They put the cams right over the valves and springs insted of using roller rockers like the Ford DOHC. Maybe since the ZR1 is 90* that the heads are wider but at a lower height. Since the 3.4L is 60* it probably doesn't get very wide till its very high up.
