which is better to buy a crate with a three year warranty or build your own motor for cheaper?

 

Well it comes down to have you built one before, do you know how, do you have time ect... If you have the time and information (or some one you know does) then I would build it myself so I know what is in it to and "T" If you don't have that then I would say buy a motor but I wouldn't go through GMPP, you can get motors a hell of a lot cheaper through independent motor builders that are a lot easier to deal with.
