Anyone know if the bypass has changed much over the years? For example, can I put the bypass from an '86 305 onto a 70's 350?

Second question: can they be reused, or should a new be bought when rebuilding an engine? If new, where's the best place to get one - dealer?

goto your local chevy dealer the price of a new bypass valve is not worth taking a chance.if not im pretty sure all bypass valves are the same
