Pretty self explanatory. What would that do? Wanted to add with the stock heads too. Would I need new springs? Wanted to save money here so. . .
Also, if I got a SBC 350 block around the same year, would all my 305 parts fit on the 350?

As to "what would it do" on stock heads:
Hit the rocker slot on the stud (unless elongated slot rockers installed).
Bind the valve spring coils.
Eventually, pull the rocker studs out.

That's entirely too much lift on a stock head.

Most everything from the 305 would fit the 350 assuming:
You get a 350 with the same type (roller or flat-tappet) cam.
You get the same type rear-main seal as you currently have.
You aren't talking about the heads (they would bolt up, but "fit" loosely intrepreted they would not).

If your current engine is "around" a 1986, you'll have problems with either an '85 or '87 350. But, only to the extent mentioned in the previous paragraph.
