Re: Big Block Headers
If you want a header that actually fits then go to "Lemons" in California. They made a jig for the tri-y headers I have on my car (I was the person that asked them to be made the first time). Unfortunately, they do not cost less but it will at least place the collectors in the trans tunnel instead of under the doors. It's a shame to do a nice engine swap and then do something as tacky as showing exhaust down the side of the car.

A lot more options out there just "search" on here. Depending on how wild your combo is there are plenty of headers to choose from.

Re: Big Block Headers
If you dont mind modding the passenger floor pan a but with a big *** hammer, the patriot 8012 is about 190$ US uncoated, it is a mid length and the passenger side collector can be modded just a touch to make it fit very nice.

Re: Big Block Headers
$725 CAD is a cheap price for BBC swap headers in a third gen. My Ed Quay headers are worth around $1500. There is no easy or cheap BBC swap header for a third gen. Any other non third gen specific header will take a lot more to make them work and even then, there's no guarantee that something else will work. Using cast manifolds is a poor option as they don't fit very well plus they're very restrictive.

Even to have a set custom made specifically for your car, they would be close to $1000.

Re: Big Block Headers
I spent a few hours making long tubes from a truck fit... when I bolted one side on, I looked down and saw that the front of my car was jacked up in the air; lowered the jack and i had about half an inch of ground clearance. That really annoyed me.
