Car: 1988 camaro
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: 700r
Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi
blown up 305
I need help.My 305 in my 88 camaro is done.I pulled it out with the 700r attached.The problem is i can not seperate the trans and the engine because the engine is locked up.So i can not get to the bolts on the flywheel/converter.Any ideas would be a big help.

It is possible to remove the trans with the torque converter still attached to the flywheel. It slips into the front pump on splined shafts. You need to be careful to support the weight of the tranny as you remove it to avoid damage to the pump.
