i Just picked up an lm7 5.3 longblock from one of my friends i have'nt payed him for it yet. It has 10,000 miles on it but doesnt have the accessory's brackets wiring or coilpacks. My car currently has an lt1 in it from an impala ss and i have a corvette lt1 in my garage waiting to be built. my dilema is should i buy the 5.3 or just build the vette motor? which would be quicker i am aiming for 11's in a mostly daily drivable car. The 5.3 i am thinking of stabbing a cam and some 1.8 roller rockers in and i might just run it off a carb with the vic jr intake from edelbrock along with longtubes and the msd 6ls. any input would be appreciated.
