I have a standard 350 with stock heads, Torker 2 intake, MSD streetfire hei, 4v relief flat top pistons, 1406 edel carb, the exhaust is heddman LT's running to super 44 flowmasters dumped before the axle. The trans is th350 with 3000 stall, rear gears are 4.10's.

I was looking at the comp xe274h would that be a good cam for this setup

I plan on getting new springs with whatever cam I choose in the end.

If you guys have any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate the input on this.

 

I think thats a good choice of cams. I have an XE268 in a 350 and like it a lot.

 

Comp Cams has a program called Cam Quest that is a free download.... Just input all your engine specs and see what it recomends....

 

why the torker manifold?

smallblock chevy run best with a lot of plenum volume which the torker lacks. from now on every post i make i will end it with "thats my opinion." some people get way too bent out of shape around here.....thats my opinion
