Rebuilding 350
Rebuilding 350
I am in the process of rebuilding a 350 motor on my 87 Iroc. I am the third owner and want to do it right. I got this car for a great price. It came with a Paxton Supercharger, MSD ign. 6a, Harland Sharp Arms, and more.
Need help with the right cam, Bore or Hone, Pistons, re do the heads or buy new. Not looking for a Race Car, but a nice streetable car.
Thanks (1st posting)

It all depends, how much money and how hard do you beat on it? You can hone if the walls are fine otherwise bore THEN hot tank the block. How much boost? That will make the biggest differnce on head, cam and pistons. Has the motor been rebuilt before? If no it might be a wise idea to have it bored and decked, GM dosen't have the best, from the factory blocks.
