hey guys, did some thinking today and was like hmmmm......a big block would be pretty sweet in my car. post some pics up of the swap and motor so i can get an idea of parts and stuff.

It takes some vaseline, but they go in.....


...it ruins the handling as far as I'm concerned, but you didn't ask me about that.

I abandon my 454 swap in favor of a 6.0, just going to be cheaper in the long run but DAAAMN i am missing out on torque.

I'm willing to wager you've not driven one with a BB swap.The vaseline thing is a myth,they have a decent amount of room,although the headers are tight.The handling issue would only be noticable if aggressive driving on twisty roads were the primary purpose of the car.With a set of springs from a TPI car,(the heaviest factory equipped engine),the handling is changed VERY little.

Well, mine is a little tight but it's not a typical street engine either. With the raised exhaust port heads and larger header tubes, it's very tight but still fits. It fills the engine compartment more than a SBC does, that's for sure.
