best fuel option?

I am doing a a 305 carb to 350 carb swap on my 1982 se. The 350 block was originally tpi. This should be straightforward but the 350 does not have a completed fuel pump rod provision so I figure I am going to have to run a pump with a fuel pressure regulator. Should I run an in tank pump? Is my tank even set up? Or should I just mount an inline pump and cut into the fuel line? What is the most reliable option? Any advice is appreciated.

An in-line pump would be the easiest. They certainly are easier to install and replace, and are reasonably reliable.

Re: best fuel option?

ok. The 350 has the 416 heads (ported) and a zz4 cam. I just wanted something fun for the streets. Any recommendations on pump and/or regulator?
