What else do I need for installation????

Well, I'm set on replacing my LG4 in my 84 Camaro with the GM Fastburn 385. The crate motor comes with: block, rotating assembly, balancer, flywheel, heads, cam, intake manifold, water pump, and distributor. Will all the brackets from my LG4 work (alternator, A/C compressor, etc.)? Will it all swap over? What else do I need to make the swap happen? I know I need a carb and a timing chain. Anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like you have it all covered...

I believe that the acceory holes on those heads are universal, so they should work with your brackets.

Just be sure to keep everything from the old motor until you get the new one in.

I think the motor comes assembeled...the timing chain should already be installed.

Thanks for the reply. What about a fuel pump? Does it come with one? If not I guess I'll need to buy one since the LG4 one isn't gonna cut it. Thanks again.

You will need to get a fuel pump. Everything else bolts on just fine. Before you take the brackets off your LG4, take pictures or draw pictures of how they go together. Otherwise, it'll cost you more time than you had planned on. Trust me on this one Also, if you haven't done it yet, you REALLY need headers and a good exhaust for that fastburn motor, or you'll never reach it's 385 horse potential.
