you need to go ahead and do it. You need to know what your oil pressure is on a newly built engine anyway.
That hole may have a plug, or it may just be open. So you need to be sure. If it has a plug it may be kind of a pain in the *** to get it out, though.
Do you mind sharing what the casting numbers are on your cylinder heads?

Ok, this is what I did...
I drained my oil, took out that plug and put in my Oil pressure sensor, filled it back up with oil, hooked up the battery.
It started, but was running rough, then it died, and would not start again and injectors werent spraying.
Any ideas.
