I have a new 383 with like 3 miles on it. I had it engine dynoed at the engine builder and he told me he had an issue with the PCV pulling oil into the intake I smokes his dyno room out. He disconnected them and the issue cleared...He told me it was because I had no baffles in my Brodix valve covers. So I ordered new gromets from Summit that were inclosed at the bottom like a cup, cupping the PCV and a small hole to let them breath. I Installed the engine had it flatbedded to the chassie dyno tune shop and the car was smoking really bad again. Pull the PVC to fine the gromets have filled with oil and its being pulled into the lower intake and TB. Disconnect them and the smoke issue clears from the exaust. I then cut the bottom from the gromets so they just had long sleaves over the PCV. So it still pulled oil, just ended up running the rubber PVC hose to a bottle to collect oil. Also seem to have oil pushing up the valve cover bolts and leaking there too. Any idea what would cause this?? How do I correct this?? I'm prob going to order sheet metal baffles to block the oil splash to the PCV area from summit and see if I connect the PCV in the stock configuration if it works any better. I almost brought a crank case evac setup from Summit...1 tech told me to get it but the next 3 said its only for cars with no mufflers....Any input would be great, this is making me crazy!...mods in sig

sounds to me like the rings are not sealing and it is causing to much crankcase pressure in the engine.

I think you should try some valve covers with the baffle built in, I don't think those grommets will work as well as actual baffles.
If that fails you should perform a leak down test to ensure ring sealing, I once had a 305 that had so much blow by it pushed oil out of the dipstick tube<- alot of oil
