? about engine swap
I will be pulling the engine out of my camaro tomorrow. I need to know if I have to pull the exhaust manifolds? I am pulling all the front pulleys and brackets. I also pulled the radiator, y pipe, starter, I need to know what I can leave on since I wont be reinstalling this engine. I will be attempting to pull engine and trans together. Thanks for any info, this is my first engine replacement in a camaro.

the manifolds should come out with the old engine, but it's more stress on whatever you're using to lift with. On the other hand, they're difficult to remove otherwise.
You still need to pull the radiator, and you should pull the damper. The p/s can stay in the car, and can stay fully connected.
Don't forget the head-to-firewall ground strap back there, and there should be something similar on the rear of the other head, also.
If you don't have a spare yoke, expect to spill fluid from the trans, even if you already drained most of it.

Thanks Atilla , I was not able to read your post this morning, but it went exactly as you described. Found the grd wires on the way out and my plug did not work on the tranny. But I removed the ac radiator coil and was able to leave the damper. The lift I used has a leveling bar so pulling the trans and engine together was a piece of cake.
