Do I need to change oil pan?
First of all I am a bodyman trying to learn about engines, so I am a little dumb about engines. I am doing a 350 swap into my 85 Iroc and I have a 1970 block. Will I need to change oil pans to fit over the K member and if so what should I get?

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
If you're thinking of using the '70 oil pan, most likely it will fit.
You won't be able to use your '85 pan on the '70 block, because the dipstick changed sides.

i have a 70-73 block, and the oil pan fits fine, no issues, only thing is dipstick changed from passenger to driver, as Five7Kid stated
