Quick flex plate question

Let me first say, I have searched the forum for several days looking for the answer to this question, to no avail.

I have taken out the 1 piece rear seal 305 from my 86 iroc, and I am swapping in a 2 piece seal 350. My question is, since I cant re-use my flexplate on the new motor, what flexplate do I need to get so that I can reuse my torque converter and starter.

Re: Quick flex plate question

Any 153 tooth 2 piece RMS flexplate, as long as your block is drilled for the starter.

Okay, thats what i was hoping. I just measured my torque converter, I believe I have a 10.75 inch bolt pattern.

So would a V8 flex plate off a 1985 Camaro work?
