a common swap problem?
my 5.7 tpi t-5 swap is great, i just have one problem that bugs the hell out of me. I used the v8 engine harness and the v6 body wiring, my fuel pump wasnt getting power, so i jumpered the tanat the c100( or gray power wire for the fuel pump) to the tan at the fuel pump relay. Even if the relay is unplugged, with the ignition on, the fuel pump constantly runs and will not shut off. And the other wired part, when i shut off the ignition, my rpm gauge flips out and flies up and down on its scale for a second I suspect i must have to wire this different, its as if the tan at the relay is getting constant power. Anyone else have this problem?
