305 to 350 swap

Axle/Gears: 2.73
305 to 350 swap
I have a 305 TPI in my car right now and the block is cracked and leaking coolant. Since my plan was to swap in a 350 later on in life anyways, seem like a good time to tackle this project now. What I need to know is if this is all I need?
- 350 motor (do I need 4 bolt or 2 bolt? Or does it matter?)
-Bigger injectors (what size do I need? 22 lb?)
- Chip from a 350 car
I'm thinking I'm also going to get some shorty headers to put on it. Another thing, Oregon has smog required for all cars made after 1974. I barely passed last year (it took about 7 attempts), will this swap make it so I can't pass smog?

Doesn't matter. If you're sure it's the block that's cracked, you can get a 350 shortblock and put your 305 heads on it, even.
Correct. Although you can reprogram your 305 chip for the 350.
I believe by '91 they were using the same knock sensor.
If properly tuned, it won't have a problem passing the sniffer.
If your 305 has the single cat, you'll want to go to a 3" single cat, or factory-like dual cats.

I don't believe so. I've just checked the part numbers and they are totally different.

I've checked before, and they were the same part number.
So, decide for yourself, use the 305 knock sensor, or go get a 350 part.

Maybe I'll check them again. It's very possible that I've missed something.
I usually just go to rockauto.com and check part numbers there.

Really the only part I'm worried about is tuning the prom. It costs about $100 just to get all the stuff to do it, then I have to learn how to look at memory values. I already do some programming, but nothing like this. Considering I only have about $1500 and I'm about to spend $600 on new suspension, I need to get this swap done with about $900...
Ideally it would be nice to find someone that really needs money for christmas and is selling a rebuilt 350 for about $200-$300. Hopefully do the swap for about $600 and then have my uncle rebuild the 305 for me so I could sell it.
My dads friend also thinks that my intake manifold won't fit on a 350 for some reason. Is he right?

Small block to small block should be the same intake. As long as it is the same generation block and head combination. Should be. They changed them in '87.
