92 Camaro RS 305 -> 350

Ok, so I will be swapping the stock 305 TBI in my Camaro for a '70s era Carbeurated 350, as the 305 is blown, and the 350 runs, and I need the car to get to work.

So far, I figure the stock 305 transmission *should* work with the 350, and the 305 throttle body *should* also work with the 350 as long as I replace the injectors with 350 injectors.

I'm probably going to have to replace the exhaust system either way, so at this point, I would just like to know the following:

Assuming the above statements are correct, would it make more sense to drop the 350 in as is (carbeurated), or convert it to a 350 TBI, and what exactly would be involved getting everything running & street-worthy either way?

if you're swapping to carbed, you're going to have to purchase a return style fpr, figure out how to control the lockup for the trans (if you've got an automatic), and figure out a way to power the in-tank fuel pump. bare minimum needs to do that swap.

you'll be able to get the 350 to run with the 305 tbi programming & equipment, it just wont be optimal for the bigger engine (but with some tuning that can be fixed).
