305 carb to 355 carb swap/ ecm question

I know that using the knock sensor is recommended. I will use the one from the 89 350 block. I have the complete TPI system.

Do I need to use the following :

1.) 350 ESC?
2.) 350 prom from the tpi ECM? If so, how will that prom work with my CCC quadrajet?

None of the TPI parts are going to work with a computer carb setup (like the ECM, ESC, etc.). Not sure what knock sensor you will need - maybe one from a car that had a computer-controlled carbed 350 in it from factory, but I'm not sure what that would be, maybe a truck.

You have a CCC carb now? LG4 or L69?

Swap the short block, leave absolutely everything else the same.

To really take advantage of the larger displacement and if you put in a better cam, FAST fuel systems will burn a new chip for about $250 and rebuild that CCC Quadrajet to 350 specs for about $300.

Or you can advance the base timing and put new rods and hangers in to get the same results for about $50 total.
