looking to buy a short block assembly such as

supercomp headers

any other opinions on combos?

Get a used block. Send it to a machine shop. When you get it back it should look almost brand new and a lot cheaper than buying a brand new block from gm. Same power.

Good combo, What about a cam? If your boosting it I would stay away from the performer intake. Go with something like a victor, Or super victor. Something high flow and single plane.

If you are getting all new valvetrain, stay solid roller. Period.

What kind of boost are you planning for turbo, procharged, roots?

well i just want the bottom end to be able to support turbo for the future, imma see what i can get out of it NA first.

A better idea is to build a NA bottom end, and then build a forced induction one when you're ready.

You do realize those are two separate directions. You cant just build and then add a turbo. You can make no power waiting for your turbo setup, or you can make good power but then cant turbo.

You want an opinion stick to one route.
