detent cable bracket
Short of a junk yard where can I find one. Car was a tpi, now has a carbureted 327. The braket I have on it now works good for throttle cable, but my detent cable angles from brakett to carb. Carb shop says I need one from a camaro

Re: detent cable bracket
I use http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-8030/ ... it's adjustable, but I had to modify it a bit by drilling a few holes to extend the bracket for the TV cable a bit closer to me Edelbrock carb. It also mounts to manifold - but summit does have some that mount to the carb. Edelbrock makes another one that is not chrome but same design, about $15 cheaper.

For the record, TH700R-4's don't have a "detent" cable. They have a "throttle valve" cable.
The difference is significant.
